Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Corozal Town, start at the Corozal Central Park, which is located in the heart of the town. From the park, head south on 4th Street until you reach the intersection with the main road (Philip Goldson Highway). Cross the highway and continue straight on 4th Street. Follow this street as it leads you towards the Belize- Mexico border. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will arrive at the border crossing. Once you have crossed the border into Mexico, continue straight on Avenida 5 de Febrero. After about 2 kilometers, take a left turn onto Avenida de los Héroes, and you will reach Malecón de Chetumal along the waterfront.

    For those who prefer to bike, start from Corozal Central Park and head south on 4th Street. Continue towards the Philip Goldson Highway, where you will cross the road. Once on the other side, follow 4th Street until you reach the Belize-Mexico border. After crossing into Mexico, continue on Avenida 5 de Febrero and then take a left onto Avenida de los Héroes.
