Turn left (east) onto the highway and continue driving for about 30 miles. Look for the sign indicating 'Chiquibul National Park' on your left. Turn onto the dirt road leading into the park. Be aware that the road can be rough, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended.

The closest town with public transport options is San Ignacio. From Mountain Pine Ridge, you can arrange a taxi or shuttle to take you to San Ignacio, which is approximately 20 miles away. Once in San Ignacio, you can catch a bus heading towards the Hummingbird Highway. Make sure to inform the driver you intend to visit Chiquibul National Park. This trip may involve a transfer, where you'll need to switch buses at the junction for the park access road. Keep in mind that this could take several hours, depending on waiting times and transfers.
