From the town center of Orange Walk, head south on Main Street (Philip Goldson Highway) for about 7 miles (11 km) until you reach the junction with the road leading to the La Milpa Archaeological Site. Turn right onto the road marked for La Milpa. Follow this road for approximately 10 miles (16 km). You will see signs directing you to the archaeological site. From the Orange Walk bus terminal, take a bus heading towards the Corozal District. You can inform the driver that you want to get off at the junction for La Milpa, which is approximately 7 miles (11 km) from the terminal. The fare is usually around BZD 2-3. After getting off at the junction, you will need to walk about 2 miles (3.2 km) along the dirt road to reach the archaeological site.
