After approximately 3 miles, you will see a sign for the New River Lagoon area. Turn left onto a dirt road marked by local signage for New River Lagoon. Continue straight for about 2 miles, following the road until it leads you directly to the lagoon. Make sure to drive cautiously, as the road may be uneven in parts.

From Orange Walk Town, take a local bus heading towards the New River Lagoon area. Buses typically depart from the main bus terminal in the town. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will drop you off at the nearest point to the lagoon. Expect the fare to be around BZD 5-10. Once you get off, you may need to walk a short distance (about 1 mile) along the dirt road towards the lagoon. Be prepared for a rural walking path, so wear comfortable shoes.
