From Sarteneja, head south on the main road toward Chunox. After approximately 5 kilometers, look for the sign for Chunox and turn left onto the Chunox Sarteneja Road. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers. You will see the entrance to Shipstern Conservation & Management Area on your right. There may be a small entrance fee; check for current rates.

In Sarteneja, locate the bus station where local buses depart. Take a bus heading towards Chunox. The journey will take about 20-30 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to go to Shipstern Conservation & Management Area, and they will drop you off at the nearest point. From there, it’s a short walk (approximately 1-2 kilometers) along the Chunox Sarteneja Road to the entrance of the conservation area. Be prepared for a possible entrance fee upon arrival.
