Walking
If you are in the center of Ouidah, start at the Ouidah Museum of History located on Rue de l'Indépendance. Head south on Rue de l'Indépendance towards Avenue des Nations Unies. Turn left onto Avenue des Nations Unies and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Route des Esclaves. At this point, turn right onto Route des Esclaves. Continue on this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Arbre de l'oubli, which will be on your left. Look for the distinctive tree landmark along the way.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Ouidah. Starting from the Ouidah Museum of History, cycle south on Rue de l'Indépendance.
