As you approach the Gedu area, look for signs indicating the Gedu view point. The viewpoint is located approximately 15 kilometers from Gedu town. There are parking areas where you can stop and enjoy the view. Expect to spend around 30 minutes driving, depending on road conditions.

To reach Gedu view point using public transportation, take a bus or shared taxi from Chhukha District towards Phuntsholing. The buses are usually available from the main bus terminal. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Gedu, which is along the Phuntsholing - Thimphu Highway. The fare is usually between 50-100 Nu depending on the vehicle. Once you arrive at Gedu, you may need to walk a short distance to the viewpoint, which is well marked. The total travel time may take about an hour to an hour and a half.
