Getting There

    Starting from the Jakar Dzong (fortress), head east along the main road. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the junction near the local market. At the junction, take a left turn onto the dirt path that leads towards Choedrak. Keep following this path for approximately 30 minutes, enjoying the scenery and local flora. You will pass by small farms and traditional houses. After about 30 minutes, you will reach a signpost indicating the direction to Choedrak ཆོས་བྲག།. Follow this sign uphill for another 20 minutes. The temple will be located on your left just after the last bend in the path.

    From Jakar Town, rent a bicycle and head toward the Jakar Dzong. Once there, follow the same route as pedestrians: proceed east along the main road for about 15 minutes. When you reach the market junction, turn left onto the dirt path. Cycling on this path can be a bit challenging due to the terrain, but it offers beautiful views.
