Walking
From the center of Paro, head towards the Paro Dzong, which is a prominent landmark. Once you reach the Dzong, continue straight on the main road for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and small eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for local signposts indicating the direction to Sangaygang View Point. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach a fork; take the right path which leads uphill. Continue walking for another 20 minutes until you start seeing signs for Sangaygang View Point. The last stretch is a little steep, but it is well-marked and leads directly to the viewpoint.
Bicycle
If you prefer to ride a bicycle, you can rent one from a local shop near Paro's main market. Once you have your bicycle, head towards the Paro Dzong and continue on the main road as you would if you were walking. The ride will take about 10 minutes to reach the fork in the road. At the fork, take the right path uphill. The ride up is a bit challenging, but it offers stunning views of the valley. Expect the entire journey to take around 30 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
Local Taxi
You can hire a local taxi from various points in Paro, such as the main market or near your hotel. Request the driver to take you to Sangaygang View Point. The drive will take approximately 15 minutes. Just let the driver know that you want to go to the viewpoint, and they will know the way. Taxi fares are usually negotiable, so be sure to agree on a price before starting your journey.
