Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Phuentsholing, head towards the main gate that leads to India. Walk along the main road (Phuentsholing-Jaigaon Road) towards the border. As you approach the border, continue walking until you reach the Pasakha area, which is approximately 2 kilometers from the main town center. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Daragaon View Point. Once you reach the Pasakha area, you may need to ask locals for specific directions to the viewpoint, as it may not be well-marked. The view point is located in Jaigaon, West Bengal, India, just across the border.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Phuentsholing. Start your journey by cycling towards the main gate leading to India. Continue on the Phuentsholing-Jaigaon Road, as you would when walking. The ride will take you through the bustling streets of Phuentsholing and into the quieter Pasakha area. The distance is approximately 2 kilometers, and it should take about 10-15 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Upon reaching Pasakha, look for signs or inquire locals for the exact route to the Daragaon View Point.

• Public Transport

  While there may not be direct public transport to Daragaon View Point, you can take a shared taxi or a local bus from Phuentsholing to Jaigaon. From the bus station in Phuentsholing, board a vehicle heading towards Jaigaon. Once you arrive in Jaigaon, you will need to ask locals for directions to the Daragaon View Point. It’s important to mention that some walking may be required from the drop-off point to reach the viewpoint.
