Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Samdrup Jongkhar town. Head northwest on the main road, following the signs toward the Samdrup Jongkhar Police Station. After passing the police station, continue straight for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left at the fork onto the road leading to Jomotsangkha. After about 1 kilometer, you will see Dudjom Choekhang on your left, marked by the address RF6X+5J2. There is no entry fee for visiting the temple, but parking may be limited.
Public Transportation
To reach Dudjom Choekhang via public transport, start at the main bus terminal in Samdrup Jongkhar. Look for local minivans or shared taxis heading to Jomotsangkha. The fare is around 50-100 BTN (Bhutanese Ngultrum) per person. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Dudjom Choekhang, and they will drop you off near the temple. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Be sure to check the schedule for return trips to ensure you have a way back.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the center of Samdrup Jongkhar, you can follow the same route taken by vehicles. Start at the town center and walk toward the Samdrup Jongkhar Police Station. After passing the police station, continue on the main road for about 2 kilometers. When you reach the fork in the road, take the left path towards Jomotsangkha. Dudjom Choekhang will be on your left after approximately 1 kilometer. This option is ideal for those who enjoy walking and want to explore the local scenery.
