If you're driving, head towards Bumthang - Ura Highway (FGX5+P2H) from the center of Trongsa. Follow the signs for Bumthang while navigating through the scenic roads. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will see Taa-Dzong on your right. There is parking available near the entrance.

To reach Taa-Dzong via public transportation, you can take a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Bumthang. These generally depart from the main bus terminal in Trongsa. Inform the driver that you wish to stop at Taa-Dzong. The fare is typically around 100-200 BTN depending on the vehicle. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes, and you will be dropped off at the entrance.

If you are near the Trongsa Dzong and prefer walking, it is about a 30-minute hike to Taa-Dzong. From the Dzong, head northeast toward the Bumthang - Ura Highway.
