    If you are driving from Zhemgang town, head east on the Zhemgang-Jakar Road (also known as the Wangdue Phodrang-Jakar Highway). Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork towards Jakar, which will merge onto the Phelyang Road. After about 10 kilometers, you will see signs for Nyimalung Monastery on your right. Follow the road signs, and you will arrive at the monastery parking area.

    From Zhemgang town, take a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Jakar. The journey will take about 1-1.5 hours. Inform the driver that you wish to visit Nyimalung Monastery. They can drop you off at the closest point on the Phelyang Road. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer uphill to reach the monastery. Ensure you have some cash (about 50-100 Ngultrum) for the bus or taxi fare.
