If you are driving, navigate to the nearest major town, which is Villa Tunari. From Villa Tunari, take Route 7 towards Cochabamba. After approximately 30 kilometers, look for signs indicating Amboró National Park. Follow these signs, and after entering the park, continue on the main road until you reach a fork. Take the road that leads towards 'Cajón la Iglesia'. Follow this road for about 15 kilometers, and look for signs directing you to 'Piscinas naturales'. Park your car in the designated area and continue on foot to the natural pools.

Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take a bus from Cochabamba to Villa Tunari. The journey takes about 3 hours. Once in Villa Tunari, you can hire a taxi or look for shared transport (trufis) that goes towards Amboró National Park. Make sure to tell the driver you are headed to 'Cajón la Iglesia'. The cost for the taxi or shared transport should be around 30-50 BOB (Bolivianos). Once you arrive at 'Cajón la Iglesia', you will need to hike to the Piscinas naturales, which is about a 30-minute walk from the drop-off point.

After reaching 'Cajón la Iglesia', the final leg of the journey requires hiking. The trail to Piscinas naturales is well-marked. Follow the path that leads downhill for approximately 30 minutes. Be sure to bring water and wear appropriate footwear, as the terrain can be uneven. Once you arrive, you will be greeted by beautiful natural pools surrounded by lush vegetation.
