Getting There

  • Walking

    From the main square in Quillacollo (Plaza 14 de Septiembre), head southeast on Avenida Aroma towards Calle 25 de Noviembre. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Circunvalación. Turn left onto Avenida Circunvalación and walk for about 1 kilometer until you see signs for Cerro de Cota. Follow the signs for the Unnamed Road leading towards Cerro de Cota.

  • Public Transport (Minibus)

    Walk to the nearest minibus stop on Avenida Aroma, where you can catch a minibus heading towards the 'Cerro' route. The fare is approximately 2 BOB. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Cerro de Cota. After getting off, follow the dirt path that leads upwards towards the hill until you reach the entrance of the site.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer to cycle, there are several bicycle rental shops near the main plaza in Quillacollo. Rent a bicycle for about 15 BOB for a few hours. Once you have your bicycle, head southeast on Avenida Aroma, then take Avenida Circunvalación as described earlier. The ride to Cerro de Cota is approximately 4 kilometers and should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
