Getting There

  • Walking

    From the main square of Copacabana (Plaza 2 de Febrero), head east on Avenida 6 de Agosto. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Calle Comercio. Turn left onto Calle Comercio and walk for another 300 meters. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. At the end of Calle Comercio, turn right onto Avenida 20 de Octubre. Continue walking for approximately 400 meters, and you will see a sign directing you to Pachat'aqa on your left.

    Alternatively, from the Copacabana Basilica, walk south on Calle 2 de Febrero until you reach the junction with Avenida 6 de Agosto. Cross the street and continue along Avenida 6 de Agosto heading east. After about 600 meters, take a left onto Calle Comercio. Proceed down Calle Comercio for about 300 meters, then turn right onto Avenida 20 de Octubre. Pachat'aqa will be indicated on your left after a short distance.

    If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local 'trufi' (shared taxi) from the main square. Look for a trufi heading towards the south side of Copacabana. Ask the driver to drop you near Avenida 20 de Octubre. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to Pachat'aqa. Look for the signs along the way.
