Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the central area of La Paz, head towards Plaza Murillo. From Plaza Murillo, take Calle Comercio and walk towards the intersection with Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Avenida 6 de Agosto. Turn left onto Avenida 6 de Agosto and continue walking. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Calle Victor Sanjinez. Turn right onto Calle Victor Sanjinez, and continue walking straight for about 5 minutes. Plaza España will be on your left, marked by its distinctive greenery and the surrounding buildings.

  • Public Transport (Minibus)

    From Plaza San Francisco, take the minibus (micro) that heads towards the Cotahuma area. Look for a minibus with the sign saying 'Cotahuma' or one heading towards 'El Alto'. After about 15 minutes, request to get off at the stop near the intersection of Avenida 6 de Agosto and Calle Victor Sanjinez. Once you get off, walk down Calle Victor Sanjinez for about 5 minutes, and you will find Plaza España on your left.

  • Public Transport (Teleférico)

    If you are near the Red Teleférico station, take the teleférico towards El Alto. Get off at the 'Central' station. From there, walk towards Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz and then head towards Avenida 6 de Agosto. Walk down Avenida 6 de Agosto for about 15 minutes until you reach Calle Victor Sanjinez. Turn right onto Calle Victor Sanjinez and walk for another 5 minutes to reach Plaza España on your left.
