Getting There

  • Car

    From Mostar city center, head south on Ulica kralja Tvrtka towards the Neretva River. Continue on this road which becomes M17. After about 5 km, turn left onto the road leading to the village of Blagaj. Follow the signs to Blagaj and continue until you reach the intersection near the Blagaj Tekke. At this intersection, turn right and follow the road for approximately 3 km. Look for signs directing you to Vidikovac Fortica. You will find a parking area nearby where you can leave your car. The Fort is about a 10-minute walk from the parking area, uphill along a well-marked trail. Note that parking may incur a small fee.

  • Public Transportation

    From the main bus station in Mostar, take a bus heading to Blagaj. The buses run regularly throughout the day and the journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Blagaj, you can either walk or take a taxi to reach Vidikovac Fortica. The walk is about 3 km and will take around 40 minutes. Alternatively, you can inquire at the bus station about local taxis, which can take you closer to the trailhead for a small fee. Make sure to confirm the fare before getting into the taxi.
