Discover more about Park Zrinjevac

Park Zrinjevac is a central city park in Mostar, named after the Zrinski family. Constructed in 1953, the park was designed by landscape architect Smiljan Klaić. It's located between the Square of Croatian Giants (Rondo), the Spanish Square, and several streets, making it easily accessible from various points in the city. The park spans approximately 3 hectares and provides a serene environment with diverse trees and green spaces. Following revitalization in 2007, Park Zrinjevac has become a favorite place for walking and relaxation. While some playground equipment may need repair, the park boasts a working fountain and an inviting atmosphere. Notably, the park has featured a two-meter-high Easter egg since 2016, showcasing motifs from Herzegovina and celebrating children and new beginnings. While a statue of Bruce Lee was once a quirky landmark symbolizing peace in the ethnically divided city, it has been subject to theft and recovery. Today, visitors can enjoy the park's cozy cafes, cultural events, and overall commitment to preserving green spaces in Mostar.
