Getting There

    If you are staying near the City Hall (Vijećnica), start by heading east on Obala Kulina bana street. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Ferhadija street. Turn left onto Ferhadija street and walk for another 300 meters. You will see a large pedestrian square with several cafes and shops. Continue straight ahead, and you will find yourself at the entrance of Baščaršija, which is a vibrant old bazaar district.

    From the Sarajevo Central Bus Station, take tram number 3 or 6 towards Baščaršija. The tram ride takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Baščaršija tram stop, exit the tram and walk straight down the pedestrian street (Sarači) for about 200 meters. This will lead you directly into the heart of Baščaršija, where you can explore the market, shops, and restaurants.
