Car
From Trebinje, head south on M20 towards the border with Montenegro. Continue on M20 for approximately 14 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the M6 road. Turn left onto M6 and continue for about 8 kilometers. You will see signs directing you towards Sumet, a mountain peak in the area. Follow the signs, and you will find a small parking area where you can leave your vehicle before starting your hike to the peak.

Public Transportation
Take a local bus from Trebinje to the nearby town of Bileća. Buses typically run every hour. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once in Bileća, you will need to hire a taxi to take you to Sumet, as public transportation does not go directly to the mountain. Taxis may cost around 20-30 BAM (Bosnian Convertible Marks) for the trip. The taxi driver should be familiar with Sumet, so just ask to be dropped off at the nearest point to the hiking trail.

If you're already at the parking area or have been dropped off by a taxi, you will need to hike approximately 3 kilometers to reach the peak of Sumet. The trail is marked but can be steep in some areas, so wear comfortable hiking shoes. Make sure to carry water and snacks, as there are no facilities along the route.
