From Una National Park, head south towards the town of Bihać. Once you reach Bihać, take the M5 road heading south towards the border with Croatia. Cross the border at the Maljevac border crossing. After crossing, continue on the D1 road towards Slunj. Follow the D1 road until you see signs for Plitvice Lakes National Park. The park entrance is located at approximately 44.8653966 latitude and 15.5820119 longitude. Be sure to have your passport ready for border control, and note that there may be a small fee for crossing. Also, expect to pay an entrance fee to the park, which varies depending on the season.

Public Transportation
From Una National Park, take a local bus from Bihać to the town of Slunj. Buses run several times a day, and the journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Slunj, transfer to a shuttle or local bus that goes directly to Plitvice Lakes National Park.
