From Maun, head north on Sir Seretse Khama Road and follow the signs for the Okavango Delta. After approximately 20 minutes, you will see signs for Royal Tree Lodge. The lodge is located on a private reserve on the banks of the Thamalakane River. Note that a 4x4 vehicle is not essential for reaching the lodge, but is recommended for exploring the surrounding areas. Parking is available at the lodge.
