Walking
If you are already inside Tasek Merimbun Heritage Park, start from the park's visitor center and head southeast along the main walking path. After about 30 minutes of walking at a leisurely pace, you will reach the junction with Jalan Kecil Padnunok. Turn left onto Jalan Kecil Padnunok and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. The trailhead will be on your left, clearly marked with signage. There are no fees associated with walking to the trail.

Car
If driving, start from the main entrance of Tasek Merimbun Heritage Park. Follow the main road, Jalan Tasek Merimbun, heading southeast. After about 1.5 kilometers, you'll see a sign for Jalan Kecil Padnunok on your right. Turn onto Jalan Kecil Padnunok and continue straight for about 2 kilometers. The trailhead for Padnunok Trail will be on your left. Parking is free, but ensure your vehicle is parked safely off the road.

Public Transport
From Bandar Seri Begawan, take a public bus towards Tutong. Alight at a bus stop near Tasek Merimbun Heritage Park. From there, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or take a taxi/Dart ride to the park entrance and then follow the driving directions to the trail head. A bus ride from Bandar Seri Begawan to Tutong costs around BND 1. A short taxi ride from the park entrance to the trailhead would cost approximately BND 5-10.
