Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Kaya and head south on Avenue du 11 Décembre. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Route de Ouagadougou (N4). After approximately 5 kilometers, turn left onto Route de Nabakyèsma. Vipalgo is located about 3 kilometers down this road, at the address 469Q+3VC, Nabakyèsma. Look for signs along the route, and parking is available at the location.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Vipalgo using public transportation, begin at the Kaya bus station. Look for a minibus or shared taxi heading towards Nabakyèsma. The fare is generally around 500 CFA francs. Inform the driver that you are going to Vipalgo. After approximately 30 minutes, the driver will drop you off near the intersection of Route de Nabakyèsma. From there, you will need to walk about 1 kilometer to Vipalgo at 469Q+3VC, following the road signs. Be sure to ask locals for directions if needed.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, renting a bicycle in Kaya is an option. From the town center, head south on Avenue du 11 Décembre, then continue on Route de Ouagadougou (N4) for about 5 kilometers. Turn left onto Route de Nabakyèsma and cycle for another 3 kilometers until you reach Vipalgo at 469Q+3VC, Nabakyèsma. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay hydrated, as the weather can be quite warm.

• Walking

  If you are up for a long walk, you can trek from Kaya to Vipalgo. Start at the center of Kaya and follow Avenue du 11 Décembre south. After about 2 kilometers, take a left onto Route de Ouagadougou (N4). Continue walking for 5 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Route de Nabakyèsma. Walk down this road for approximately 3 kilometers until you arrive at Vipalgo at 469Q+3VC, Nabakyèsma. This option is best for those who enjoy walking and have the time to spare.
