From the center of Dédougou, head southeast towards Avenue de la Révolution. Walk along this road until you reach the intersection with Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight on Avenue de l'Indépendance for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of the city. Keep an eye out for local signs that may guide you toward Niratoma. Once you exit the urban area, follow the dirt path signs towards Niratoma, which is approximately 10 kilometers away. The path may be less structured, so stay alert to your surroundings and ask locals if you need assistance. After you reach Niratoma, the Ruins of Loropéni will be located a short distance to the northeast from the village center.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Dédougou. Start by cycling southeast on Avenue de la Révolution towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn onto Avenue de l'Indépendance and continue cycling straight. This road will eventually lead you out of Dédougou. As you cycle, look for directional signs toward Niratoma, which is about 10 kilometers away. The route may be a mix of paved and unpaved roads, so be prepared for some bumps. Upon reaching Niratoma, park your bicycle and follow the local paths northeast towards the Ruins of Loropéni.

Head to a nearby Zémidjan station in Dédougou, which is usually located near major intersections or markets. Negotiate a fare with a motorcycle taxi driver and tell them you want to go to Niratoma. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach the village of Niratoma, ask to be dropped off at the village center.
