Walking
From the center of Bujumbura, head towards Avenue du 1er Novembre. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rue du 13 Octobre. Turn left onto Rue du 13 Octobre and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. The Living Museum (Bujumbura Zoo) will be on your right side. Look for the entrance which is marked with a sign.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in the city center. Start on Avenue du 1er Novembre, cycling straight until you reach the intersection with Rue du 13 Octobre. Turn left and continue cycling for approximately 1 kilometer. The Living Museum (Bujumbura Zoo) will be on your right. Make sure to park your bicycle in the designated area near the entrance.
Public Transport (Minibus)
To reach the Living Museum (Bujumbura Zoo) using public transport, find a minibus heading towards Kinindo. Board the minibus at one of the stops on Avenue du 1er Novembre. Inform the driver you want to get off at Rue du 13 Octobre. After about 15 minutes, disembark when you see the zoo's entrance. Walk a few steps to the entrance of the zoo.
