Walking
From the central market in Kayanza, head east on Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the main junction. At the junction, turn left onto Avenue du Président. Walk for about 500 meters until you see the sign for the bus station on your right. This is the bus station for Kayanza to Bujumbura. Purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Bujumbura.

Once on the bus, the journey to Bujumbura will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Make sure to inform the driver or conductor that you are going to Pont de Université Lumière. The bus will drop you off at a central location in Bujumbura, usually near the bus terminal.

Walking
After arriving in Bujumbura, exit the bus terminal and head south toward Avenue du Large. Walk straight for about 300 meters until you reach the waterfront area. From there, turn right and walk along the waterfront until you arrive at the famous Pont de Université Lumière, located at coordinates -3.3765429, 29.397448999999998. This should take about 15-20 minutes.
