Start at the central market in Muyinga, which is a well-known landmark. From the market, head southeast on Avenue du Commerce for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenue de l'Indépendance. Turn left onto Avenue de l'Indépendance and continue walking for another 1 kilometer. You'll pass by several small shops and local eateries. Keep an eye out for the main road signs indicating the direction to Gatabo. After reaching the end of Avenue de l'Indépendance, you will encounter a roundabout. Take the second exit onto the road leading towards Gatabo. Continue straight for approximately 2 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Once you approach the area of Gatabo, you will see a sign for Otw, located at M2PV+G5. Follow the signs, and Otw will be on your right, just after the intersection.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Muyinga. Start your journey at the central market and take Avenue du Commerce heading southeast. After about 500 meters, turn left onto Avenue de l'Indépendance. Cycle straight for 1 kilometer, passing shops and eateries. At the roundabout, take the second exit towards Gatabo. Continue cycling for about 2 kilometers, following the road signs to Gatabo. As you approach Gatabo, look for the sign directing you to Otw at M2PV+G5. Otw will be on your right side shortly after the intersection.

Public Transport

To reach Otw using public transport, find a local bus or moto-taxi at the central market in Muyinga. Inform the driver that you want to go to Gatabo. The bus will take you along Avenue de l'Indépendance. After around 15-20 minutes, you will arrive at the Gatabo area. Once you disembark, walk towards the intersection and look for the signs pointing towards Otw at M2PV+G5. It should be a short walk from where the bus drops you off.
