Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, begin your journey from the Ruvubu National Park entrance. Make sure to follow the main road heading southeast towards Rurambira. After approximately 25 km, you will reach a junction near Gatwe. Turn left at the junction and continue for about 5 km until you see signs for Heha Falls. The falls are located at coordinates CF9W+7WF, which is a popular hiking area. Make sure to park your car in the designated parking area before proceeding to the falls on foot.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Heha Falls using public transportation, start by finding a local minibus (known as a 'taxi-brousse') that travels towards Rurambira. Board the minibus at the nearest station to the Ruvubu National Park entrance. The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the service. Once you arrive in Rurambira, disembark and ask locals for directions to Gatwe. You may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (known as 'boda-boda') for the last leg of the journey, which will take you to the entrance of Heha Falls.
