The African Market is located on Rua da Luz in Mindelo. From Praça Estrela, walk east on Rua da Praia towards Rua Libertadores d'Africa. Turn left onto Rua Libertadores d'Africa, then turn right onto Rua da Luz. The market will be on your left. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. There is no cost for walking.

Public Transport
To reach the African Market using public transport, walk to the nearest bus stop at Avenida 5 de Julho. Take a minibus heading towards Mindelo. It should take about 15 minutes to reach the Mindelo bus station. From the bus station, exit onto Rua da Luz and walk about 10 minutes along this road. The African Market will be on your right side, just past Aluguers To Calhau. The bus fare is around 100 CVE.
