Walking
Start from the city center of Praia. Head north towards the Avenida 5 de Julho. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the end of the avenue. From the roundabout, take the exit towards Tarrafal. Walk along the road until you reach the bus station 'Terminal Rodoviário de Praia'. Here, you can catch a minibus (known as 'almoxarifado') heading to Tarrafal. The trip will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Tarrafal, ask locals for directions to Ponta d'Atum. It's about a 15-minute walk from the center of Tarrafal. Follow R. Liceu, and you will eventually find Ponta d'Atum at the coordinates 76GR+4RC.

From the city center of Praia, make your way to the Terminal Rodoviário de Praia (bus terminal). Look for the minibuses that go to Tarrafal; they usually have signs displaying their route. Once you board, inform the driver that you're going to Ponta d'Atum. After roughly 45 minutes, you will arrive at Tarrafal. Disembark at the main stop and head towards R. Liceu. The final destination, Ponta d'Atum, is a short walk from the main area, taking around 15 minutes.
