Walking
Begin your journey at the Burbank Metrolink Station, located at 400 W Palm Ave. Exit the station and head east on Palm Ave towards San Fernando Blvd. Turn right onto San Fernando Blvd and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the bus stop for Metro Line 96. Take the bus heading towards North Hollywood, and ride for about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop at Hollywood Way and Alameda Ave. From there, walk approximately 15 minutes east on Alameda Ave towards the Hollywood Hills. Follow the signs for the Hollywood Sign, which will guide you through the residential areas and along the scenic paths leading up to Griffith Park.

Start at the Burbank Metrolink Station at 400 W Palm Ave. Take the Metrolink train towards Union Station. After arriving at Union Station, transfer to the Metro Red Line subway towards North Hollywood. Get off at the Hollywood/Highland Station. From there, exit the station and head towards Highland Ave. Walk north on Highland Ave for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Hollywood Blvd. Continue west on Hollywood Blvd, then turn left on N Beachwood Dr. Follow Beachwood Dr until you reach the entrance to Beachwood Canyon Trail, which provides access to the trails leading up to the Hollywood Sign.
