    From Castro Valley, head to the nearest bus stop and take the AC Transit Line 31 towards Hayward. Ride the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the Hayward BART station. From there, purchase a BART ticket to San Francisco. Board a train heading towards the city and disembark at the Montgomery Street station. After exiting the station, walk towards Market Street, then continue onto Stockton Street. Walk for about 5 minutes until you reach Union Square.

    Make your way to the Castro Valley BART station. Purchase a ticket for the direction of San Francisco. Board the train and stay on until you reach the Montgomery Street station. After exiting the train, follow the signs to the exit and walk towards Market Street. Turn right on Market Street and then take a left onto Stockton Street. Continue walking for about 5 minutes until you arrive at Union Square.
