If you are in the downtown area of Joshua Tree, start at the Joshua Tree Coffee Company located at 61740 29 Palms Hwy. Head east on 29 Palms Hwy for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Utah Trail. Turn left onto Utah Trail and continue walking for approximately 1 mile. You will see the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park on your right.

From the Joshua Tree Visitor Center at 6554 Park Blvd, rent a bicycle from a local shop nearby. Head west on Park Blvd, then turn right onto 29 Palms Hwy. Continue for about 1 mile until you reach Utah Trail. Turn left onto Utah Trail and bike for another mile. The entrance to Joshua Tree National Park will be on your right.
