Driving
If arriving by car from the Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 1), look for the clearly marked entrances to Huntington State Beach at Beach Boulevard, Newland Street, Magnolia Street, or Brookhurst Street. These access the large parking lot that runs along the length of the beach. Parking costs $15 per day for standard vehicles and $30 for oversized vehicles. Rates may increase during weekends and special events, potentially reaching $20-$40 for standard vehicles and more for oversized vehicles. Note that there are no in/out privileges with the parking fee.

For those using public transportation, the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) offers several bus routes that stop near Huntington State Beach. Routes 123, 60, and 64 have stops within walking distance. From the Bolsa-Bolsa Chica stop, it's a short walk to the beach. A single ride on OCTA costs $2. The 529 route also runs from Fullerton to Huntington Beach, and may be another option depending on your origin.
