Walking
If you are in downtown Mountain View, start at Castro Street, where you'll find many shops and restaurants. Head north on Castro Street until you reach El Camino Real. Turn left (west) on El Camino Real and walk until you reach the intersection with Shoreline Boulevard. From there, turn right (north) onto Shoreline Boulevard. Continue walking north for about 1.5 miles. You'll see the entrance to Shoreline Park on your left. Enter the park, and follow the path leading you towards the lake. The Shoreline Lake Boathouse will be directly ahead.

Public Transport
From the Mountain View Caltrain Station, take the VTA Light Rail. Board the Light Rail towards the Mountain View Transit Center. Get off at the 'Middlefield & Shoreline' stop. Once you exit the light rail, walk north along Shoreline Boulevard for about 0.5 miles. You will see the entrance to Shoreline Park on your left. Enter the park, and follow the path leading towards the lake to reach the Shoreline Lake Boathouse.
