Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, take Highway 29 towards Napa. Once you reach Napa, exit at the Trancas Street exit. Turn left onto Trancas Street and continue straight until you reach Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and continue for about 1 mile. The Napa River Walkway will be on your left at 540 Main St, Napa, CA 94559. There is parking available along Main Street, but be sure to check for any parking regulations or fees.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  For those using public transportation, take the Vine Transit bus service. You can board the bus at various stops throughout Napa Valley. Look for routes that head towards Napa city center. Once you arrive at the downtown Napa bus stop, it is a short walk to the Napa River Walkway. Head south on Main Street for about 0.5 miles, and you will find the walkway at 540 Main St. Make sure to check the Vine Transit schedule in advance for bus timings and fares, which are generally around $1-$2.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Napa. Follow the bike lanes along Trancas Street and Main Street. The ride is approximately 2 miles from the Napa Valley Bike Trail starting point. Once you reach Main Street, continue until you arrive at the Napa River Walkway located at 540 Main St. Remember to wear a helmet and follow local cycling laws for safety.

  If you are staying in downtown Napa, you can easily walk to the Napa River Walkway. Start at the corner of 1st Street and Main Street and head south on Main Street. Continue walking for about 15 minutes (approximately 0.5 miles) until you reach 540 Main St, where the Napa River Walkway begins. This is a pleasant walk that will give you a chance to enjoy the local atmosphere.
