Be aware that the Francis Beach lot often fills up first. Consider carpooling or arriving early, especially during peak season.

If you are already in Half Moon Bay, the Coastside Trail provides easy access to all four beaches. The trail runs parallel to the coast and is accessible from various points in town. From Main Street, walk west towards the ocean and connect to the trail. Follow the signs to your desired beach access point. No additional costs are involved.

SamTrans Route 17 provides access to Half Moon Bay from various points along the Peninsula. From the bus stop in Half Moon Bay, you can connect to the Coastside Trail and walk to the beach of your choice. A single ride on SamTrans costs $2.50. Check the SamTrans website for schedules and routes.
