Originally built in 1881 as a wharf, it has been rebuilt and renovated several times, most recently in 2018, to offer visitors a vibrant promenade with shopping, dining, and recreational activities.

Walking
From downtown Pismo Beach, head west on Dolliver Street toward Pomeroy Avenue. Turn right onto Pomeroy Avenue, which leads directly to the Pismo Beach Pier. The street ends at the Pismo Pier parking lot, which serves as the main access point. The walk is approximately 1-2 blocks and takes only a few minutes.

From Highway 101 Northbound: Take the Price Street Exit (190), then turn left onto Pomeroy Avenue. The street ends in the pier parking lot. From Highway 101 Southbound: Take the Hinds Avenue Exit (190B), turn right onto Hinds Ave, then right onto Price Street, and finally left onto Pomeroy. The street ends at the pier parking lot. Parking at the pier costs $3-$5 per hour. Free on-street parking may be available but limited.
