Getting There

• Public Transport

  From major transport hubs in Los Angeles, such as Norwalk Station, take the Metro Line 62 or Line 460 bus to Pioneer Boulevard in Artesia. Get off at a stop along Pioneer Boulevard between 183rd and 188th Streets. The bus fare is approximately $2. Check the Metro website for the most up-to-date schedules and routes.

• Walking

  If you are already in Artesia or a neighboring city like Cerritos, walking to Little India is a viable option. From the Artesia City Hall, head south on Pioneer Boulevard for about half a mile. Little India will be on your left. Walking is free.

• Taxi/Ride-Share

  From anywhere in the Los Angeles area, you can take a taxi or ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft to Little India in Artesia. Simply enter 'Little India, Artesia' as your destination. The cost will vary depending on your starting location and traffic conditions, but a ride from nearby Cerritos will likely cost around $15-25.

• Driving

  If driving, take the 91 Freeway and exit onto Pioneer Boulevard. Head south on Pioneer Boulevard, and Little India will be located between 183rd and 188th streets. Street parking is available, but can be limited, especially during peak hours. There is a parking lot at the corner of Corby Avenue and 186th Street, where parking costs $1 per hour. Parking is enforced between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily.
