Ride for 4 stops (around 10 minutes) until you reach 'Railroad Ave & 10th St.' The South Bay Historical Railroad will be a short walk away at 1005 Railroad Ave.

From the Santa Clara Caltrain Station, head to the VTA Light Rail station located adjacent to the train platform. Board the Light Rail on the Blue Line towards 'Santa Teresa.' Ride for 3 stops (approximately 10 minutes) and get off at 'Convention Center.' Transfer to Bus Line 56 towards 'San Jose' and ride for 2 stops (about 5 minutes) to 'Railroad Ave & 10th St.' The museum is a short walk from there at 1005 Railroad Ave.

Start at the Santa Clara City Hall located at 1500 Warburton Ave. Head southeast on Warburton Ave towards Lincoln St. Turn left onto Lincoln St, then right onto Railroad Ave. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach 1005 Railroad Ave. The site will be on your right.
