From Santa Monica, head to the Santa Monica Civic Center Bus Terminal located at 1685 Main St. Board the Metro 10 bus heading towards 'Downtown Los Angeles'. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes and get off at the 'Washington Blvd & Figueroa St' stop. From there, walk east on Washington Blvd for about 10 minutes, then turn left onto State Dr. The Exposition Park Rose Garden will be on your right at 701 State Dr.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from any of the rental shops in Santa Monica. Start your ride on the Santa Monica Bike Path heading east towards Los Angeles. Continue on the bike path until you reach the intersection with Figueroa St. Turn right onto Figueroa St and head south until you reach State Dr. Turn left onto State Dr, and you will find the Exposition Park Rose Garden at 701 State Dr.

For those who enjoy walking, start at the Santa Monica Pier. Walk east on Colorado Ave until you reach 7th St. Turn left onto 7th St and continue straight until you reach Pico Blvd. Turn right on Pico Blvd and walk until you reach Figueroa St. Turn left on Figueroa St and walk south for about 15 minutes until you reach State Dr. Turn left onto State Dr and the Exposition Park Rose Garden will be on your right at 701 State Dr.
