    If you are staying in Santa Monica, start at Santa Monica Pier. Head east on Colorado Avenue towards 4th St. Turn left onto 4th St and continue until you reach the Metro Expo Line station. Take the Metro Expo Line towards Downtown LA and get off at the 7th Street/Metro Center station. Transfer to the Metro Red Line towards Union Station. Get off at the Chinatown station. From there, walk east on Hill St, then turn left onto N Spring St. The Los Angeles State Historic Park will be on your right at 1245 N Spring St.

    Start your journey at Santa Monica Civic Center. Catch the Big Blue Bus Route 1 towards Downtown LA. Ride until you reach the stop at 4th St & Broadway. Transfer to the Metro 720 bus towards San Pedro. Get off at the stop at N Broadway & College St. From there, walk east on College St, then turn right onto N Spring St. The Los Angeles State Historic Park will be on your left at 1245 N Spring St.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Santa Monica. Start at the Santa Monica Bike Path and head east towards Venice Beach. Follow the path until you reach the end, and then continue straight to Main St. Turn left on Main St, then right onto Washington Blvd. Continue straight until you can merge onto N Broadway.
