Walking
From Venice Beach, head east on Ocean Front Walk towards the Venice Fishing Pier. Continue along the walkway until you reach Washington Blvd. Turn left onto Washington Blvd and walk straight for about 1 mile until you reach Lincoln Blvd. Turn right onto Lincoln Blvd and continue walking for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Venice Blvd. From there, you can catch a bus at the nearby bus stop that will take you to Downtown Los Angeles. After about 40 minutes on the bus, get off at the stop near Olvera St.
Public Transport (Bus)
At Venice Beach, walk to the nearest bus stop on Venice Blvd and catch the Big Blue Bus Line 1 towards Santa Monica/Westside. After about 20 minutes, transfer to the Metro Line 33 at the Santa Monica and Lincoln Blvd stop. Take the Metro Line 33 towards the Civic Center and get off at the stop for Olvera St after about 40 minutes. The street is a short walk from the bus stop.
