Bicycle
From the center of Kampot, head towards the riverfront and find the main road (National Route 3). Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops available in the area. Cycle along the river until you reach the junction with the road leading to Tuek Chhou, which is approximately 5 km from the city center. Turn left onto this road and continue for about 3 km until you see signs for Phnom Chhngok Cave. The cave entrance will be on your right, marked by local signage.
Motorbike
If you prefer a motorbike, rent one from a local shop in Kampot. Begin your journey by heading towards the riverfront. Follow the main road (National Route 3) south out of Kampot for about 5 km. At the junction with the road to Tuek Chhou, take a left turn. Continue straight for approximately 3 km, and keep an eye out for signs indicating Phnom Chhngok Cave on your right. The entrance to the cave is easily recognizable.
Tuk-Tuk
You can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Kampot. Negotiate a fare with the driver and provide them with the destination: 'Phnom Chhngok Cave.' The driver will take you along National Route 3, heading south out of Kampot. After about 5 km, they will turn left onto the road leading to Tuek Chhou. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes, and the tuk-tuk will drop you off right at the entrance of the cave.
Walking
If you’re feeling adventurous and prefer walking, start from the city center of Kampot. Head towards the riverfront and walk along National Route 3. It is a distance of about 8 km to the entrance of Phnom Chhngok Cave. When you reach the junction with the road to Tuek Chhou, turn left and proceed for about 3 km until you see the cave entrance on your right. Be sure to bring water and wear comfortable shoes, as the walk can be long.
