Kampot Cabana: A Tranquil Oasis in the Heart of Cambodia

Getting There

• Walking

  From the Kampot Riverside area, head south along the riverside walkway towards the main bridge (Kampot Bridge). After crossing the bridge, continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto National Road 3. Follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you see signs for Aundong Khmaer Village. Turn left onto the road leading to Aundong Khmaer Village and continue for about 700 meters. Kampot Cabana will be located on your right, just past a small local market.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the many shops in the Kampot town center. Start from the market area, heading towards the riverside. Follow the riverside path south until you reach the Kampot Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue on National Road 3 for about 1.5 kilometers. Watch for signs directing you to Aundong Khmaer Village and take the left turn onto that road. After about 700 meters, Kampot Cabana will be on your right.

• Tuk-Tuk

  From your location in Kampot, you can easily hire a tuk-tuk, which is a popular local form of transport. Simply tell the driver 'Kampot Cabana' or direct them to 'Aundong Khmaer Village.' The usual fare should be around $2 to $3 for the trip. The driver will take you along National Road 3, and after about 10-15 minutes, you will arrive at Kampot Cabana, located on your right after passing the local market.

• Motodop (Motorbike Taxi)

  For a quicker ride, you can opt for a motodop. Find one near the market or on the streets of Kampot. Inform the driver that you want to go to Kampot Cabana. The journey will take around 10 minutes, and the fare should be around $2. The motodop will navigate through the streets toward National Road 3 and drop you off right at the entrance of Kampot Cabana.
