Car

If you are driving, start from Preah Vihear City. Head northwest on National Road 64 for about 30 kilometers. Turn left onto Route 64A at the sign for Ban Sua Mi. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction. Turn right onto the dirt road leading to Preah Nimit Waterfall. The waterfall is located about 5 kilometers down this road. Be prepared for some rough patches; a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

Public Transportation

To reach Preah Nimit Waterfall using public transport, take a bus or shared taxi from Preah Vihear City to Ban Sua Mi. The journey will take about 1 hour and costs around $5. Once you arrive in Ban Sua Mi, you can hire a local tuk-tuk or motorbike taxi to take you the remaining 15 kilometers to the waterfall. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around $10-$15 depending on your haggling skills and the condition of the vehicle.

Walking

For the adventurous, if you are already near Ban Sua Mi, you can walk to Preah Nimit Waterfall. From the village, take the dirt road heading towards the waterfall.
