Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Siem Reap town, head south on National Road 6. Continue on this road for approximately 5 km. You will see signs for Angkor Botanical Garden. Turn left onto the road leading to the garden. Follow the signs for about 2 km until you reach the entrance. Parking is available on-site, and there may be an entrance fee, so make sure to have some cash on hand.

• Tuk-Tuk

  Tuk-tuks are a popular and affordable way to travel in Siem Reap. You can hire a tuk-tuk from your hotel or find one in the town center. Negotiate the fare upfront; it should cost around $10-$15 for a round trip to Angkor Botanical Garden. The driver will take you along National Road 6, where you will turn left onto the garden access road. The trip takes about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.

• Public Bus

  Currently, there is no direct public bus service to Angkor Botanical Garden. However, you can take a local bus from Siem Reap to a point near the entrance of the garden. You will need to ask locals for the specific bus that heads towards the area around the garden, as schedules may vary. Once you get off the bus, it is about a 15-20 minute walk to the entrance of the garden. Remember to check the bus schedule for return trips to ensure you don’t get stranded.

• Bicycle

  If you are feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle from a shop in Siem Reap. The ride to Angkor Botanical Garden is approximately 7 km from the town center. Follow Route 6 south, then take a left onto the road leading to the garden. The route is mostly flat, and you will enjoy a scenic ride amidst the countryside. Just be cautious of traffic and wear a helmet for safety. There are no entrance fees for bringing a bicycle into the garden.
