Ferry
The most common way to reach M'Pai Bay is by ferry from Sihanoukville. Several companies, including GTVC Speedboat and Buva Sea, operate daily services. Ensure the ferry goes directly to M'Pai Bay, as some only stop at Saracen Bay. From Sihanoukville International Airport (KOS), take a taxi to the ferry pier. The ride to the pier takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around $25. The ferry journey to M'Pai Bay takes about 45 minutes. A one-way ticket costs between $14 and $29. A round-trip ticket costs approximately $25. Alternatively, a less glamorous but cheaper option is the supply boat from Pier 52 in Sihanoukville, costing $5 each way. It departs at 2 p.m. (though often delayed) and takes 2-4 hours. Once at M'Pai Bay pier, most accommodations and restaurants are within a 10-minute walk.

Taxi Boat
If you are already on Koh Rong, you can take a taxi boat to M'Pai Bay. From Koh Touch (the main village on Koh Rong), the supply boat costs $5 per person. A private taxi boat can be arranged for around $20. Be aware that the supply boat isn't fancy and is shared with other passengers and supplies.
